A Brief Module Overview

This module encourages critical and creative engagement with the ways in which information and ideas are shared through digital media. It introduces a range of digital media techniques and asks that they be engaged through open-minded experimentation, discussion, and independent research.

As the module progresses the requirement is to:

• critically engage with current and emerging digital practices

• focus on one research area of your choice

• refine existing and/ or new digital skills

• develop a final outcome

• produce a research journal (including a proposal for a piece of work, independent academic and contextual research, and a piece of formal academic writing)

• create a polished, professional, digital outcome.

For this project, a technique other than your current field of practice must be selected for final submission.
