A Brief Module Overview

This module is also known as the “Shape Module” I have been asked to research and creatively respond to  a shape that has been randomly assigned to me, over a twelve week period.

This module is about experimentation, stretching myself to work outside of my comfort zone, whilst demonstrating both playfulness and daring. There will be lectures, workshops and alumni talks to explore a range of art forms, which should lead to a number of outcomes. The primary focus of this module is quantity rather than quality, multiple outcomes are more important than a single polished professionally created piece.

The module has a digital submission requirement. The conclusion of the project will be a ten page portfolio of A3 pages that show the highlights of my research and the series of outcomes that I have produced. In addition I will submit my research and experimentation as supporting work.

I have been assigned the Triangle as my shape for this module.
